Lodge Chief: The Lodge Chief is is responsible for the planning and conducting of Lodge activities. He creates and oversees all Lodge committees. He supervises the Chapter Chiefs. He is our liaison to the council. He serves as a member of the Council of the Chiefs and attends quarterly meetings (usually in Austin or Waco). He is chairman of
the Lodge Executive Committee and Key 3.
Lodge Vice-Chief: The Lodge Vice-Chief supports the Lodge-Chief, working closely with him to ensure that assignments are completed. He fills in for the Lodge Chief when needed. He manages the Troop/Team Representative program. He promotes OA events to the troops and within the Lodge, (Lodge events, High Adventure Programs, National events, etc.).
He also completes other duties as assigned by Lodge Chief.
Lodge Secretary: The Lodge Secretary manages communication and membership aspects of the OA program. He helps maintain the Lodge database. He prepares reports on membership. He manages the registration process at Lodge events. He is responsible for Lodge e-mails, newsletters, and promotional materials (with Vice-Chief’s help). He helps maintain
the Lodge website, He is responsible preparing agendas (under the
of the Lodge Chief) and recording
the minutes of lodge meetings. He also completes other duties as assigned by Lodge Chief.
Lodge Treasurer: Prepares and maintains the Lodge budget and financial records. He is responsible for the Trading Post and the management of lodge productions and memorabilia (i.e. patches, etc.). He prepares financial reports for Lodge meetings when requested and works to maintain current inventories for all Lodge merchandise. He also completes
other duties as assigned by Lodge Chief.
